Drive Traffic to Your Content

Welcome to Module 4

Now that you’ve published your first content and added an affiliate link, it’s time to bring in traffic.

Because no matter how good your content is—if no one sees it, it can’t help, grow, or earn.

This week, we’ll teach you the traffic triangle: SEO, social sharing, and email marketing.

Let’s get eyes on your work.

Objectives

To help you drive traffic to your content using simple SEO, consistent social media sharing, and your first email campaign.

Why This Matters

Content without traffic is a hidden gem. To grow your audience and income, you need eyeballs—and consistent action.

This isn’t about going viral. It’s about showing up where your ideal person is already looking.

More visibility = more clicks = more potential income.

Traffic Method 1: SEO Basics (Search Engine Optimization)

SEO helps your blog posts or YouTube videos show up when people search on Google or YouTube.

How to SEO Your Content:

  • Use Google Keyword Planner (free) to find 3–5 low-competition keywords related to your niche (e.g., for fitness: “best yoga mats for beginners” or “quick home workouts for moms”).
  • Update your module 3 content piece:
    • Blog: Add 1–2 keywords to the title, headings, and body (e.g., change “Top 5 Fitness Tools” to “Best Yoga Mats for Beginners: Top 5 Picks for Busy Moms”).
    • YouTube: Update the video title, description, and tags with keywords (e.g., “Best Yoga Mats for Beginners | Fitness for Moms”).
    • TikTok: Add keywords to the caption and hashtags (e.g., #YogaForBeginners #BusyMomWorkouts).

Tip: Use Google’s autocomplete to find what people are searching. Start typing your topic and use the suggestions as your keywords.

Traffic Method 2: Social Sharing

Sharing your content across 2–3 social platforms is how you build awareness fast.

Choose Your Channels:

  • Facebook (groups + profile)
  • TikTok or Reels (quick tips or highlights)
  • Pinterest (great for blogs)
  • LinkedIn (if your topic is career/business-focused)

Smart Sharing Tips:

  • Turn your blog post into 3–4 short tips and post them over a few days
  • Add a CTA like “Link in bio” or “Full video on my channel”
  • Use 3–5 relevant hashtags

💡 Pro Tip: Reshare your content weekly—it’s new to someone every time.

Traffic Method 3: First Email Campaign

Your email list is the only audience you truly own.

Set Up in Mailchimp (or similar):

  • Create a free Mailchimp account and set up a simple email campaign:
    • Write a 100–150-word email introducing your Week 3 content (e.g., “Discover the best yoga mat for busy moms! [Bitly link]”).
    • Include the FTC disclosure from Week 3 (e.g., “This email contains affiliate links. I may earn a commission at no cost to you.”).
    • Promote the email sign-up on your social platforms (e.g., “Join my email list for exclusive fitness tips! [Link to Mailchimp form]”).
  • Use the provided Email Campaign Template for structure: Subject line (e.g., “My Top Fitness Pick for You!”), greeting, value, affiliate link, CTA.
  • Send the email to at least one contact (e.g., a friend or test email) or collect sign-ups via social posts.
  •

.
